Good  performances from all the teams this week and two wins for Exham House.

Seconds continued their fine run of performances with a high scoring 34 – 6 win at Cokethorpe on Wednesday. Thirds also put their opponents under pressure to take a well deserved 27 – 11 win.

Exham House A team used everything they had learnt this term against B'Boro, keeping calm under pressure and playing their own game. Moving Annie Leung to Centre proved successful as we linked our passes and attacked well. Issy Yates played a great game as GS, showing nice movement and controlled shooting. BGN were strong and tall, but we were able to keep our passes accurate and create some good play down court. New additions to the team in the form of Marylene at GA and Hannah C in defence, allowed us to bring a calmness to the team not seen before. A very enjoyable fixture, and we look forward to playing BGN in the future.

The B team again showed spirit in another difficult match, this time against B'Boro, keeping going whilst challenged by a much stronger side. BGN’s height proved again problematic for our shooters, but the combination of Immy, Eliza and Delphi in attack is definitely one to watch for the future.

House matches were as competitive as ever, with this year seeing 30 additional girls playing as we added a C team game for each group. The support from those not playing on the sidelines, the parents who came and shouted, the banners made and the music played when goals were scored, all added to the atmosphere, with Wilberforce taking the Junior Competition and Raymond the Seniors.
